Assist research scientist in all aspects of irrigated research including but are not limited to; variety evaluation trials, cropping systems studies, crop, soil, water, nutrient and pest management experiments. This includes planning and planting, irrigation scheduling, plot maintenance, weed control, sample collection, processing and laboratory analysis, data collection and processing, and repair and maintenance of field equipment. Support project leader in disseminating research results by participating in field days, tours, preparing reports and PowerPoint presentations.
Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. During planting and harvest season, there may be longer days in the field.
Salary: $46,342-77,237.00 DOE
Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.
