About MNFSR:
The Ministry of National Food Security and Research (MNFSR) in Pakistan ensures the country’s food security and advances agricultural development. The Ministry is responsible for economic coordination and planning in respect of food and agricultural policies. It oversees import and export controls on food grains and foodstuffs, ensuring quality standards through inspection, grading, and analysis.
MNFSR also manages statistics on the production, consumption, prices, imports, and exports of food grains. In addition, the Ministry coordinates with international aid and assistance agencies to bolster the food sector and collaborates with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations.
It supervises federal agricultural research organizations and is instrumental in plant protection, pesticide standardization, aerial spray, plant quarantine, and international locust control, maintaining locust warning systems. MNFSR oversees Federal Seed Certification and Registration, ensures the standardization and import of fertilizers, and manages the procurement of food grains, including sugar, for federal requirements, inter-provincial supplies, and export.

- To assist NPD regarding the administrative and secretarial matters

Account Officer (PPS-07)

Responsibilities:
- Handling of day to day accounts matters
- Compilation of periodical financial reports

Field Supervisor (PPS-06)

- Supervision of all olive field activities.
