Job Purpose

- Develop and manage a two day production plan based on customer demand and material availability.
- Review all work orders and prepare required documentation for smooth operations.
- Monitor daily production schedules and ensure timely updates.
- Coordinate with Production Leaders, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Technical teams.
- Check raw material availability and report shortages on time.
- Collect production data and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Manage inventory for production tools, safety equipment, and stationery.
- Raise purchase requests to avoid delays in operations.
- Track slow or problematic batches and report issues for timely action.
- Act as secretary for Tier III and monthly commercial meetings.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage MPS and MRP processes as per IBP guidelines.
- Develop daily, weekly, and three month production plans.
- Release production orders according to site agreements.
- Monitor schedule adherence and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with the Demand Team to integrate customer priorities into planning.
- Lead gatekeeping meetings and share relevant KPIs.
- Balance service levels, inventory goals, and cost efficiency.
- Reduce slow moving and obsolete stock through timely action.
- Define safety stock levels for active and phase out products.
- Maintain accurate master data across planning systems.
- Support ongoing improvement projects to enhance planning and performance.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum three years of experience in production or supply planning within FMCG, paints, coatings, or retail sectors.
- Experience with SAP supply planning and BI tools.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and improvement driven mindset.
