Job Summary

This position is ideal for a hands on IT support professional who can provide first level support for POS systems and outlet IT operations. You will handle user issues, coordinate with vendors, assist with outlet openings and renovations, and produce reports and documentation. The role requires a problem solving mindset, basic SQL and Excel skills, and the ability to work independently or support on site when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first level end user support for POS systems, network, hardware and software across outlets and headquarters
  • Work with external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
  • Support outlet openings and renovations, including setup and testing of POS and network systems
  • Document process flows, prepare test case scenarios and create training guides
  • Generate regular reports as required by management
  • Provide on site or remote support, including after hours or weekend response when required
  • Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by the IT manager

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Information Technology or related business qualification
  • Minimum one year of experience in IT support, POS operations or a similar role
  • Knowledge of POS systems and retail IT environments
  • Basic SQL query skills and strong Excel formula ability
  • Familiarity with SAP is an advantage
  • Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills, with initiative and independence
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with vendors and cross functional teams

Work Arrangement

Full time, with occasional after hours or weekend on site support as required. This role may require travel between outlets within the region.
